“A Rendezvous with Destiny”
Active duty soldier and gifted artist Kevin L. Webster has beautifully captured 55 years of history forged by the soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) in an original work in oils entitled “A Rendezvous with Destiny”. Webster hoped to capture the rich history that the 101st has established. To do this he included many different artifacts from many different campaigns. During the time that it took him to complete the painting, two of the soldiers he had painted had passed away. Both soldiers had bravely jumped into Normandy with the 101st. Webster hopes that “A Rendezvous with Destiny” will help to “Preserve Their Legacy”. This limited edition lithograph is available for purchase through the Fort Campbell Historical Foundation. This lithograph is the first in a series of lithographs to be created by Kevin L. Webster
