π§ Progress continues at the Tennessee Wings of Liberty Museum, with finishing touches taking shape both inside and out. π§
πΉ Current Work Underway:
- Owner training on building controls
- Review of the controls graphics
- Power washing of all sidewalks
- Final grading is complete, awaiting seed and straw
- Completion of final punch items
πΉ Additional Recent Milestones:
- Landscaping in the parking lot and donor brick plaza is nearing completion.
- Final painting in the atrium is almost finished.
- Lighting is being installed in the atrium.
- The main entrance gate and fencing have been installed.
- The atrium floor has been ground and sealed for a polished finish.
The new 40,000-square-foot museum will be located on a 33-acre site outside the military gates, making it more accessible to the public with free admission. It will honor the history of the 101st Airborne Division, the 5th Special Forces Group, and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment.
