Red Friday began in 2005 as a way to show support for every American Soldier and their families. We use the color red to represent the acronym Remember Everyone Deployed. Traditionally, many who wish to support Red Friday wear red t-shirts. However, any kind of red hat, scarf, ribbon, pin, or article of clothing will do.
Our military servicemen and women put their lives on the line to uphold the freedoms we enjoy today. Some live to return home, some don’t, and some return home with injuries they will bear for the rest of their lives.
This next Friday, show support for everyone deployed in the military. Wear red, and tell someone else about Red Friday.
